Why it matters
Installing trace software does not finish the work. The operation has to stay up.
What it is
Monovi offers Track & Trace managed services for regulated industries, especially for tobacco manufacturers and importers. Also for pharmaceuticals, food and beverage industries, where product tracking and tracing is legally required by specific regulations, Monovi offers Track & Trace services as well. The work covers authentication, product serialization, coding and labelling, and brand protection — so the operation can meet the regulation against counterfeit and illicit trade.
Beside the software suites implemented, IT and business operations are run as well. Factory and warehouse Track & Trace implementation, system maintenance and operational continuity sit on the same line. Support is 24/7, multilingual and independent of location.
The challenge
Regulation does not stop at go-live.
Regulated products must be serialised, aggregated and reported to the authority in every factory, warehouse and market. When a line, scanner or interface stops, compliance and shipments are at risk together.
- 01
Every market has its own rules
EU TPD2, the UK, Central Asia OMS, KSA, the UAE and the Gulf regimes each define their own identifiers, data and reporting.
- 02
Line, warehouse and authority must agree
Unit, case and pallet identity has to stay consistent from coding on the line to aggregation, dispatch and the regulatory repository.
- 03
Systems must stay up on every shift
Factories run in shifts; Track & Trace incidents need answers at any hour, in more than one language.
- 04
Specialist knowledge is scarce
Building in-house Track & Trace engineering and support teams for every site is slow and costly.

The business model
The difference is not only offering Track & Trace software. Managed IT and business operations carry continuity. Customer success is the motive, and the engineering teams work to the business goals under an agreed SLA.
A large budget does not have to be set aside for a software licence. The budget goes to the work and the processes that bring the real value. If wanted, support is not limited to IT; there is an engineering team for specific business operations. Expert support covers IT and business operations together: 24/7, multilingual and independent of location.
Who it is for
- 01
Manufacturers
Need to control and integrate Track & Trace processes over the manufacturing processes. Track & Trace MES integrates with automation systems and reduces the manual work that keeps production running. In the digital-factory concept, the MES manages data orchestration between the tracking software systems and the machines on the shop floor and in the warehouse.
- 02
Supply chain
Shipments, receptions, product aggregation and regulatory Track & Trace operations are supported. Transport operations and product tracking are fully managed via Track & Trace warehouse software.
- 03
Governments
Together with technology partners, a full-cycle Track & Trace solution is published for authorities who need taxes paid, products on the market verified, and illicit trade countered.
- 04
Importers and exporters
When products are legally required to be tracked in the supply chain, importers and exporters need a compliance solution. Monovi provides services to implement and run your Track & Trace systems, fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

How we work
How an engagement runs, in four steps.
We work as a business partner rather than a short-term supplier. Scope, responsibilities and measures are clear from the start.
Step 1
Understand
Business goals, requirements and the current system landscape are analysed; scope and responsibilities are agreed.
Step 2
Set up
The team is built, trained and onboarded, on site or remotely. The SLA and its KPIs are defined.
Step 3
Run
Development, support, monitoring, incident and change management are run by Monovi within the agreed scope.
Step 4
Improve
Performance is reported against KPIs; processes and know-how are documented and continuously improved.

Why Monovi
A partner, not a short-term supplier
Not only software: we also provide the operational solutions and technical people to run IT systems and business operations.
Software, operations and people in one place
The teams run and support the Track & Trace software suites, test new versions before deployment and follow up on issue resolution.
Service you can measure
Service performance is monitored and reported against the KPIs in the SLA. Processes run under ISO 9001:2015 quality management.
Budget goes to the work, not the licence
There is no need to set aside a large licence budget; the budget goes to the work and processes that create the value.
